My Lover, The Man

I long for his kiss
The man who would be my lover
I know not his name
Or what he looks like

He would touch me with his thoughts
Walk with me in our dreams
Sleep with me in his heart
Bless me with his lips

My heart aches to know the man
To embrace his soul
To weep with his tears
To hear the music in his voice

When we meet
We’ll feel our auras merge
Our souls quiver in recognition
As our eyes reach towards our depths

A shiver runs down my spine
At just the thought of him
I’ll no longer need to hide
He’ll keep me safe by his side.
